Confirmation Classes

Concordia’s confirmation classes are scheduled on Sundays from 4:30 – 5:30 pm.  The Junior High program is intended “to teach Scripture and Luther’s Catechism so youth may grow in the faith they received in Baptism for a lifetime of discipleship in the communing body of Christ.”

The 7th grade class is taught by Kris Bierman and Sarah Shadday based on Concordia Publishing House’s Voyages: Exploring Luther’s Catechism.  The 8th grade class is taught by Pastor Flamme in the Luther Room based on Concordia Publishing House’s Pathlight: This We Believe curriculum.

The church encourages students of all abilities to attend Confirmation class and will work with those students to the best of our God given abilities and resources.

Adult Instruction

The Adult Instruction Class (AIC) is scheduled during the Sunday School hour and is taught by Pastor Flamme.  The class intended for adults who would like to become members of Concordia Lutheran Church or church members who would like a “refresher” course on their faith.  AIC is based on the book I Have Good News for You.

Please, contact Pastor Flamme or Sarah Shadday if you or a family member is interested in Confirmation Class or the AIC course.
