Jesus said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick."

We gather here as sinners to receive the medicine of God's grace and mercy.

Service January 25, 2026 (1/25/2026)

Dearly beloved saints –

Due to the ongoing weather conditions, the elders and I have decided to cancel service for today. Please join us at 6:30pm tomorrow for the observance of Transfiguration.

In lieu of service this morning, feel free to pray as a family the Morning Prayer office on p. 295 in the hymnal, or one of the other offices.

The readings are:

Exodus 34:29–35

2 Peter 1:16-21;

Matthew 17:1-9

If you know of someone who doesn’t have email or isn’t copied onto this email, please forward the message along to them, or let me know.

Be safe and stay warm, hopefully we’ll be able to see you all Monday.

God bless and Christ’s peace.

Pastor Scheltens
